Water level for openning day

    Water seems high yet. Hopefully it will get down to action level.

    Personally for the St Croix, I prefer it just high enough to keep it in the no wake and then fish the edges of the river assuming it’s walleye we’re talking about.

    Granted, that’s me and I’ve almost forgot what a walleye looks like.

    I’d be happy if it dropped just enough for the Hudson launch to be open for opener. Its probably doubtful with the rain we are suppose to get over the next few days.

    I was just looking at the DNR site and the flow is climbing back up since yesterday. 25,000 CFS in Taylor Falls
