The St Croix river is managed by the National Park Service. This web site has a lot of interesting information: http://www.nps.gov/sacn/

    Welcome to the board Rusty!

Were you going to be boating to your camping spot or driving?

Hot spots maps have some maps that run from taylors falls to prescot. They are not 100% right on but are about the best I have seen.
Take it slow on the middle section of the river right now if in a boat. There are alot of spots where 3′ is the channel.

The campsites from Afton…maybe even Hudson down to Prescott are all boat in. Sorry I can’t help you more!

Make sure a know about the high bridge cut off also. You are not allowed to take a boat north past the high bridge.

    When are you heading up?

Washington County parks has a camp ground on Cty. rd. 21. Just north of Prescott and south of the Kinni Narrows. Cross at Prescott into Minnesota and take your 1st right turn. Go about 3 or 4 miles. Nice Facility!
