St Croix is open upstream from the Boomsite launch. Boomsite Bay is still a bit iced in and the launch was still iced in yesterday but this week’s warm weather should open up the bay and I expect boats should be able to launch later in the week.
Still some pretty good sized ice floes floating down in the current though.

Ice is darkening fast south of the i94 bridge. A few days in the 60’s will really go a long way to opening things up down this way

Good to hear I was going to run over that way to check. The Gf and I were wanting to get out camping this coming weekend.

Still froze over from Prescott north. Ice is dark and won’t be long.

Boomsite Bay is now clear north of Stillwater and boat launch is wide open. Checked out Beanie’s and the launch there is wide open and clear too. I plan on chasing some channel cats this week – want to try and troll up some early season channel cats. 70 on Wednesday – it’s springtime.

pulling boat out of storage on 4/15. would be great to dunk it and knock the rust off. opener will soon be upon us.

I can’t believe how quick the ice disappeared from Hudson to almost Afton since late last week. There will be plenty of time between now and opener to knock the rust off.
