Fished with my dad on saturday morning in the Prescott area. Caught 3 keeping size walleyes and bunch of those wonderful lamb fish. Saw a couple of youths pull their limit out in the morning of walleyes and sauger. Caught a few channel cats as well. Used crawlers all morning. Working the 16-21 foot depths. I was wishing I had brought some fatheads as sometimes the lamb fish will stay away. Tried leeches after I ran out of crawlers with little success. Seemed in order to get walleyes you had to have your bait on bottom via a jig or sinker right at your hook. If you had your bait off bottom the lamb fish would find it really quick. I think I should have gone to the kinni narrows instead, but I tried to eek out a limit there instead as the younger guys were having success that I could not duplicate.
