Tagged Sturgeon

    A buddy went sturgeon fishing on the croix last night and ended up with 8 total sturgeon. Biggest was 46″. Big thanks to BK for pointing me in the right direction!! (and no, he didn’t pay me to say that).

    2 of our fish were tagged with yellow tags. This is my first tagged fish so I’m pretty pumped about it! We wrote the numbers down and measured them. I was wondering who I report it to? I know I could probably have just googled it but I thought using this site might be faster. Thanks!!

    Let us know where they have traveled from! Its always interesting to see how far fish can and will travel!

    I have caught a few tagged walleyes some from a few lakes here in SD, and 1 from Mille Lacs just liking calling in a banded goose or duck, the fun part is seeing how big it was when it was tagged or banded and where it came from, keept catching. – QB
