Its like St Croix Gold but tastes better!
I finally got out to chase the gills last night and they were more elusive than I had imagined. Fished a lot of spots before finding them but when we did we got what we needed. 18 nice gills. One crappie in the mix. The good gills were 8″ but very stout. Nice fish and a pile of meat that was enough for all. You might even say they were intoxicating…..

    Mmm…, whens the fish fry?

So is that you in the picture? I don’t know if I ever saw a photo of you before. Its kind of like when you listen t oa radio personality for years and have this picture in your head, then you see them and it is weird.

By the way, you do know you are going to get a bunch of cat guys opening this thread ready to rip you one for claiming to catch a blue cat on the croix.

Sunnies are for children. I catch Blue Gills and the occasional Pumpkinseed. Got a couple of those weird warmouth looking things last night too. One was big enough to keep. Cant wait to eat tonight.

Funny thing. I forgot about that until later that night when I felt my hair while sitting in my favorite recliner. I started to say something to my wife but stopped because I knew she would make me shower and it was getting late.. I probably should change my pillow cover tonight!

At least she doesn’t have to wonder why your hair smells like fish

Save that photo! It IS the only one on the internets that a person can actually recognize Suzuki. Someday we’ll need it for identification!

…so Mike, you were at the train bridge again huh?

    No. That’s Jesse’s spot.
