Hit the river with my wife tonight in search of some of those “pesky” deep water pan fish. Took a bit but we managed to put a good patten together, regardless of the friendly jetskies that wanted to come on board with us!
Toward the end of the night I was able to get the walleye gear in the water and we were fortunte enough to help out a fellow fisherman! We had noticed that he had hooked into a musky! As it turned out when we got up by him and he pulled it out of the net it was much bigger than I had thought! It taped out at 47 1/2, what a beautiful fish! It caped off my and my wifes night just to take a few pics of her for him! The croix is a great body of water and over the past 3 days I have been in 3 different sections doing 3 very differnet things!
If for some reason the guy that caught that fish is able to read this, damn…that was a great fish and we were just happy to see it!!
