Size 11 tennis shoes were biting last night just ask BZZSAW. He did catch more than me though.

I’m on a roll. Sunday I caught a fishing pole by Afton only to follow it up with a tennis shoe on Tuesday. Can’t wait to see what I catch tonight and tomorrow.

I applaud you on your river clean up efforts!
My dad and I have a record of a fish pole, a lawn chair, rubber knee boot, and a hat. All in the same day! Its always interesting what comes out of the Croix!

Got a deer head with the rack cut off once. If you ever find yourself in that situation, avoid the urge to stick your finger in the holes…

…and if you cant resist that, at least resist the urge to smell them afterwards.

Any chance the deer head looked like this minus the horns?

That picture is just proof of one of Davie Hales famous stories…

Leave it to one of the Hale’s to hook into something like that. You can’t make it up.

That truly is a once in a lifetime catch! And definitely a good story to go along with it I’m sure!
