We boated 35 to 40 walleyes with 7 being keepers. 4 walleye from 19.5″ to 15.5″ and 3 saugers from 16.5″ to 13.5″ Most years I wouldn’t think this is all that hot for catching but this year, I am pleased with the results as the bite has been sloooowwww.

We trolled raps in the wind all day, mainly because it gave me best boat control with four customers aboard, plus it was working.

The water temps are starting to stabilize and the low 50s appear to help the bite regardless of the yo yoing weather patterns.

Water clean and mostly clear dropping and 680.2 feet.

Any over 20″ or were they all shorts? Good to see a year class or 2 up and coming if that’s the case! What depths if I may ask?

If you feel like it please list the depth you were hitting them. Need to know if I can long line troll or need to get deeper. Thanks.

Yep, had the same luck as Turk. Put about 15 fish in the boat between two of us in 6.5 hours. Just enough to keep our interest. Kept three for my mother in-law. The rest were dinks. The fish seemed spread out in all parts of the area we fished. Fire tiger SR-7 being the best lure. Blue #7 Flicker was getting a few.

Fished the ham room. Wind and dead trolling motor batteries kept me off tge first spot. Pulled 2 keepers and a dozen dinks in a few random spots pulling lead. I should have stayed in the channel instead of fighting the wind

    Thank you
