Volunteers on St Croix and Camping Permit Info

The St. Croix River Association and NPS are looking for summer volunteers on the river. There are too many opportunities to list. This is a great way to give back to a river that has given us so much. Here is a list of opportunities:

And finally, don’t forget to get your camping permit. It is required anywhere north of the high bridge I believe and must be displayed on your tent at all times. It only costs a stamp to mail, and the information they send you in return is worth way more than that. Here’s a link to that application:

The camping permits are required from hwy 8 to the solo line high bridge. North of hwy 8 you don’t need a permit. You can also pick them up at Interstate or William O’Brien state parks.
