St. Croix Crossing construction underway
Work on the St. Croix Crossing has begun with crews building a construction staging area on the Minnesota banks of the St. Croix River.
Current work involves:
Building dock walls to support equipment access for construction of bridge foundations
Installing steel sheet panels to provide docking facilities for barges
Upcoming work scheduled for early May will include clearing property adjacent to Minnesota Hwy 95 in Oak Park Heights.
Also beginning in May, the St. Croix Crossing project offices, located at 1862 Greeley St. in Stillwater, will have extended office hours on Tuesdays until 6:30 p.m. to answer any questions about the project. Feel free to stop by and chat with project representatives.
