Cell phone and an earbud…unless it’s windy…then find some trees….

Sandbar? Are you wearing your grumpy pants because you can’t get out early?

I’m still waiting to find a job with hours like yours beachman. LOL

You will have to let me know when one opens up
I think I ran out of explainations and car problems to get out of my job.

I took the kids out tonight North of Stillsville.
The waters up 2+ feet, the current is ripping, and there were whole trees floating down river. It was painful to troll cranks with all the weeds.

Its 11:00pm and I just got back in from an evening of catfishing upstream by the High Bridge. Got skunked. Water was 59 degrees and at 681.2 feet which is up 5.2 feet in the last 10 days. Current was really moving out with lots of weeds and twigs in the water so you have to constantly tend your lines. Twins lost too. But you know what – the sun was shining today and the full moon was absolutely beautiful on the water and Joe Mauer is back – life is good. I still had a great time.

    Brian-
Yup…grumpy for sure …I was busy from 4:00-9:00 helping my sister load a moving truck. I did get a used refrigerator for stocking cold ones and bait.
Today looks like a good day to get out.

Bushman…I don’t have a 40 hour a week job…it’s mostly around 55 hours….but the differance is that I can fish and still do my job…(well at least when I’m fishing alone.) Like any job…it has it’s days!
Now if I could only get this darn cell phone to connect to my internet provider for my laptop…

Steve…where are those cats? When I was fishing with Dirk the otherday, I learn at least one big lesson…I’m not doing anything wrong…just wrong location. Guess I’ll just have to spend more time one the water <sigh>.

Sandbar…all was not lost…bait/beer frig…I would have helped her for that! It’s a great day to be…outside…enjoy the summer…winter is coming!

That was the way it was taken…

I’m leaving at 1:30…without my cell phone. I’m going out with Walleye Walley from “Healing Waters” Guide Service. I’m going to be swimming in eye’s tonight!

Couldn’t buy a hit. Weird night. I’m guessing the sudden changed has them turned off. Hopefully temporarily.
I’ll be back out this weekend weather permitting.

I was a little luckier Suzuki. Few sheepies, 4 eye’s between 16 and 17 inches. Not one shortie today.
Lindy rigging a worm…started with a spinner…but that didnt’ work. Rocks 9 to 11 feet of water…I never fish that shallow!

Almost forgot! I hope you let Sandbar out today…he was getting a little on the crabby side because he didn’t go fishing (with you?) on Wed.

    Sandbar…anyluck?

    Brian-
Long lined cranks Thursday for a couple hours with no success. Ended up pleasure cruising the majority of the afternoon with my better half. We went to the Gem in Diamond Bluff for a couple cold ones and a bite to eat. It was a perfect day on the river.

I’m glad you got out Sandbar…I couldn’t hardly stand your crankyness anymore…

I have T-Mobil and the software to do it…but I can’t get the thing to dial out…If I could, I wouldn’t be sitting here right now!
