Walleye reports

    I read this forum every day. I haven’t seen any reports lately. Heading down there for Memorial weekend and just curious how the fishing has been.

    Has been slow, Should pick up soon. I’m going this afternoon, but i’m not holding my breath to catch anything.

    Pool nine was pretty good over the weekend around Lansing, not alot of big fish but nice eaters.15-18 inchers were common both days. Drifting in the early morning hours and trolling mid afternoon seemed to be the right combo.

    I was talking with a fella buying more leeches at Beanies yesterday. They had 4 keepers in two hours. More action, but most were under the 15″ thing. They were in the Hudson channel.

    The channel has been good as of late. My buddie had six the other day in 3 hours of fishing, all these fish were caught trolling shadraps in Hudson.
