    I am new to the area, last lived in International Falls.
    I have 2 children and would like to take them shore fishing.
    Any areas to go to? Thanks for your help!

    Bill,
    There are many spots to access the river for shoreline fishing. Around the Hudson area, under/around the 94 bridge, Minnesota side. On the rocks/shorline at 94/Hudson exit. Hudson Lakefront park on cement wall, probably the best spot with kids. The end of dike road in Hudson. Lake Mallilue/St Croix dam. Those are just a few of the shoreline spots available.

    People fish off the lift bridge or down along the embankment in Stillwater too……. if you care to stay in town, that is. You’re always welcome to come visit our WI shores too.

    Don’t forget plenty of cheese for the WI license!

    There’s the Power Plant water outlet too. I’ve never fished there, but from what I’ve heard…there’s always something bitting there.
