How was the weekend for everyone? I fished Saturday from 5:30 am until 2:30 pm and managed to pick up 3 legals. The bite was pretty slow for me, a few people around the Kinni had better luck, my nieghbor and his partner ended up with 8 legals. Chappy, it was nice meeting you. Did you find some fish for the livewell?

Nope, Me and Chappy342 Caught 1 smallie and a sheephead up on top of Kinni. My other brother’s daughter caught @a 25# carp. That’s all they got to. What were you using? We worked Lindy rigs and Leeches and crawlers. Going to try it again in the morning(5/11) out from park and Kinni.Just trying to break in the new motor.I did have a few fish absolutely hammer the leechs and I could’nt let go fast enough!

I lindy rigged and jigged from Prescott to Kinni on saturday. Picked up one legal walleye in the first 10 minutes. Nothing for the remaining 5 hours. Used fatheads and crawlers. Going out tonight to give it another try.
Heck, I even tried slip bobbers outside the park and couldn’t catch anything. Not sure what is going on.

My son and I were out on Sat. Got out at 8:00am and ended at 2:00pm. Fished 94 bridge to the RR bridge. Pretty slow. Caught 6 throw-back walleyes in the 13-14″ range on crawlers and leeches. Sheadhead were keeping us busy from time to time, but overall it was slow. Probably worked the area too long before moving on. Wis DNR was out checking ALL the boats for licenses and measuring the few legals that were caught. Trolled cranks along the Wi shore south of 94 and Catfish later in the day. Mostly small walleyes and tons of sheaphead. Water level was incredibly low for this time of year. Never did catch a legal fish all day, but it sure was a nice day to be on the river. Coffee
