Was out last night from 6pm til around 8:30pm and caught one keeper walleye south of the kinni in water that was around 15ft. Then we headed south near prescott and tried for some white bass. We caught a few on spinners but was most exciting when we landed a 42in musky. suprising being that it is may and isn’t opener and the fact we weren’t even fishing for musky. landed it, took a few pictures and released her. Pretty fun!

Fished the Croix Thursday 5/6 above the Kinni. 40-15 feet of water. Very slow. 3 Walleyes, 12 or so sheephead from 3-7 PM. Did’t notice a whole lot of action from any of the other 30 or so boats fishing the “Narrows” either. A few here and there, but overall I would have rated the action very slow. It can only get better. WARMER WEATHER!

Sandbar and I fished near the Kinni yesterday afternoon and did very well. He already had 4 by the time I joined him then we again fell short of the boat limit by 1 fish. We quit fishing at 7:30. Crawlers.

Nice fish, Did you get a chance to try those crawlers? Did they work? I should be out tonight, probably see ya out there.

Those crawlers made no difference. I’m bagging tonight. Sandbar and I need to eat some fish to bring down the stock piles. Fish fry with our woman tonight. We will both be out in our own boats with passengers Sat morning. We both have dual Suzuki’s hanging off the back so if anyone see’s us say hello.
