While day reports/tactics indicate targeting 20-35 foot depths, Im wondering if this switches at night and if fish are pushing shallow similar to the night action on the mississippi? I dont have any lights or electronics on my boat as it is anyways, so I cant even target these night fish, but was just wondering if theres a transition at all from night to day or day to night pertaining to feeding depths of walleyes.

I would say they move shallow at night. Used to night fish the park in Osceola before ever fishing the Mississippi. Lighted bobbers off the point there after dark. Plenty of walleyes coming in to 3′ of water or less. Never did try plastics or crank baits but would now. Caught my 1st 28″ walleye from that spot after dark. That was cat fishing with a big minnow.
