    New post for today. aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
No wind this morning. Hope it’s like that tomorrow morning.
Rods rigged. Leaders tied. Ready to go. Just need bottled water and fresh bread for sandwiches. Crawlers from Vados looking spectacular. Now if I can just get more keepers than my partner…..

Sandbar, I wouldn’t worry too much if I were you. I too have seen Suzuki in action… and it’s not pretty. But it is pretty funny!

    Eyes,
Yah it can get pretty ugly out there. It’s really bad from 4:30 am – 7:30 am. Once the sleeping monster awakes, you never know what’s going to happen! I hate to say it, but I think Suzuki’s going to have a pretty good day.

Looks like my brother and I will be hitting the Croix tomorrow as well. Putting in at the Bluffs and heading north. I’ll be in the Red Yar-Craft with a Merc 150 and T-8 hanging off the back. Wave me down if you are on ‘em!

Good Luck. The chill should keep the Ocean Liner traffic down.

    Jon,
Most of us will be on channel 69 so turn on your radio for the latest reports. As for me, i’ll be anchored up on my favorite wingdam by 4:30am, pitching plastics and cranks. Once the sun rises, i’ll be trolling the Afton and Hudson areas. If thats a no-go, then it’ll be time to pitch jigs and minnows north of Stillwater. I’ll be in my 1891sc Warrior, look for the st.croixadventures.com stickers. I’ll have beverages in my boat, if anyone wants to stop by and chat.

Eric…since you are a moderator…I have a IDA decal for your boat and your truck..to go along with your new tires…

If you see a boat anchor on the catfish bar and it’s light out…come over and wake me up

Ceyes…you must owe Suzuki a beer?

Won’t be able to miss me, I’ll have my anchor light up with “old glory” waving proudly in the (light I hope) breeze.

Hope I get to meet you Mike and all!

Countdown???? I know nothing of the sort, seems more like a count up to me…. $$$ , I’ll be out there, red lund rebel, probably slowly trolling upriver, “Wave” as you go by

So is it going to be crazy out there or what, should I expect it to look like the red wing dam out there?

If anyone had “regular” two way radios, I’ll be out there monitering the channels, just just a holler out for any indepthangling members.

MN-RST-RIDER, what is a regular two way? Marine Band?

Well, 12 hours and 4 minutes and counting down! I need to be out there before HAS. I went to Fleet Farm last night and very, very few Raps left. When I asked what happened to there stock, the salesman replied “some guy from st.croixadventures.com was picking out the good ones like Rapala was going out of business”.

I’m afraid that’s what’s going to happen to the eye’s if I don’t get out there before him.

One good thing…he’s moving into a house right down the road from me…I’ll be able to watch him with my field glasses and when he gets to those hot spots, report them right here on the St Croix forum.

    No more secret spots Eric!

Little less than 9 hours to go now. You will find me in a 16′ polar kraft jon with a 25hp honda on back. For most of you if you run into me it means you have came to far north and they are not going to let you back down past the high bridge.
One more trip to the store tonight and early on the water tommorrow.
    Good luck.

    Brain,
Just got back from Acapolcos. What I like to call getting TUNED up for tomarrow. Spent $50 at the bait store on LEECHES and minnows and crawlers. Always do good on leeches early in the year. Time to rest. 5 hours before fishing time.

    Brian,
I Never got to to post before we left, forgot the radios at home anyways in my sleepiness… I ended up just going out with the girlfriend, because my other buddies bailed on me, sounds like we had better luck than them anyways. Can’t wait to get out there again, but it looks like tomorrow at the soonest

Aways count on girl friends and wives when the “buddies” let you down.

Good Luck Tuesday! I wanted to get out today…but couldn’t make it until the clouds moved in…then my old age move in and said “too cold”.
