Has anyone been fishing right under the dam from shore yet this year? I fished there once ever last year and caught some smallies and suckers. Also watched a guy bring in 2 sturgeons.
Wondering if the water low enough to fish right under the dam right now? Are the fish there safe to eat from there? I remember the water was very murky when I was there. Or are there even any fish worth eating from there?
Yes you can eat the fish from there. 
I’m not sure you can fish under the dam right now cuz of the high water. We also have got around 3″ of rain up here and it’s not done yet so lookout pool 3 and 4 cuz she going to come back up.
The one time I was there, I brought in a smallmouth and something crawled out of its mouth. Wasn’t a leech, probably snake or eel. Creeped me out a lil bit.
I eat fish out of there all the time and i look fine
