MN anglers must wait a week more???

    This happened a few years ago didnt it? And cops decided not to ticket. There is no way of having two dates on border water. No way. Try and stop me from fishing the Croix on April 28. I cant believe all the ****** nonsense these polititians are causing this year. Morons.

    Hmmmm… That would be nice, but I think thats a misprint. Have to keep an eye on that!

    The croix always opens the Saturday closest to the first of May.regardless of what state your from.

    There are exceptions. Like I said this happend a few years ago. They even had the different dates printed in both regs. CO’s were instructed to overlook. Its all coming back to me.

    I also believe this is a misprint. If you scroll through the actual bill the only mention of changing the opener is:
    ” Sec. 81. FISHING OPENER; 2012.
    37.25The 2012 open season for taking fish by angling shall begin on Saturday, May
    37.265, 2012, for the taking of species that would otherwise begin on May 12, 2012, under
    37.27Minnesota Statutes, section 97C.395, and rules of the commissioner of natural resources.”

    I would agree that this doesn’t change anything that has already been printed in the reg’s concerning the St. Croix opener. IMHO

    its talking about mn opener. I don’t see how this effects the st croix

    This makes the most sense. No mention of the St. Croix at all. It clearly states that the only date that is affected are the seasons that are shceduled to open on the May 12th. All other seasons are not affected.
