    Awww….

Seeing the title got me excited that maybe there was another alternative to Navionics. Not because I think Navionics is bad, but because competition is good.

It was crap on my son in laws I phone

compared it to the real thing… wasn’t even close… not sure but I think there was a point that the app showed that the chip said wasn’t even there on the Croix

Works fine on my iPhone. It may be off by say 2 ft but not much of a big deal. And yeah they cut the croix off from the boomsite all the way up to tailors falls but that area changes so much for depth it would be hard to keep on point. Plus your not supposed to be up past the high bridge anyway.

for 10 bucks navionics is worth it, at least i think, i bought it when i came back to bemidji for ice season. No doubt it has helped me find more spots and fish. Even shows vegetation and accesses, not as accurate as a GPS unit, but still gets you pretty close.

Is it quick to find your location? And how easy is it to read on such a small screen? I’m still not sold on it yet.

    Yes and easy enough.

My new pet peeve. People calling an Android phone a Droid…which is a line of phones.
