Fishig near Bayport Marina

    I’m just starting out fishing on the St. Croix river and have access to a Zodiak to use from the Bayport Marina. I’m looking for some general advice on areas to explore near the Bayport marina. It has a 20 horse so I can go a decent distance from the marina, but I just don’t know where to start out.

    Also, it sounds like most people are having luck jigging fatheads in 20-30 feet and trolling floating cranks?

    Welcome to Ido Sir!

    Some of the St Croix Rats will be along to give you some pointers. I’m guessing your looking for walleyes?

    There’s also some good, recent reports from Turk about the Croix bite. Might want to check those out.
