    Hello all,

Looks like we may have near our limit of 20 boats for this coming week. I will do what I can to insure that everyone gets to fish the league even if we are over the 20 boat limit. I have the 10 boats that fished last week guaranteed a spot for this coming week. IF YOU DID NOT FISH LAST WEEK 7-12 AND PLAN TO FISH THE NEXT COMING TUESDAY 7-19 PLEASE REPLY TO THIS VIA E-MAIL. ( [email protected] )

Last Tuesdays photo’s were a little sloppy but seeing as it was all of our first night at this I’m am going to be a little easy. I will talk with each team this Tuesday as they sign up as to what corrections need to be made. The first night went great and I think we really have a great group of guys fishing this league. You all helped it go smooth and I appreciate that.

I should have all the standings and photo’s posted to scvwl.com no later than Sunday night.

    Thank you everyone.

    >>> WEEK 1 OFFICIAL RESULTS AND PHOTO’S HERE <<<

Click on any photo to enlarge. REMEMBER if the fish touches the inch, half or quarter line it gets bumped up .25 of an inch.

Sorry Tom B. and Jeff O. I didn’t upload the photo I re-sized so your pic takes up the whole screen.

    >>> Keep an eye on the web-site for up to date info, the river is predicted to go up 3 feet very fast, Lakefront Park Launch is/was closed as of noon 7/16/2011.

At 683′ a river wide no wake rule goes into affect, looks like we are going to stay just below that. Hopefully we don’t get anymore rain

I think I would like to have everyone launch out of North Hudson on Tuesday the 19th. If anyone have a problem with that please let me know, if we don’t launch and meet there we are looking at getting off the water as late as 10 PM.

E-mail me and let me know please

I’m without a boat again, but you may want to consider skipping this week with potential no wake, no Hudson launch, plus a heat advisory to boot.

Might be smart all the way around.

    Eric,

it won’t make it to no wake and if it gets too hot just jump in, that’s what I was going to do. I even dug out my speedo last night to make sure it still fits, a little tight but it’ll work.

I can’t fish anyway. If the no-wake doesn’t happen, you should be good to go.

But it is 93 out right now with 105 heat index and tomorrow is supposed to be hotter.

Have fun! Speedos should be mandatory tomorrow.

I think if you take first 2 weeks in a row you should have to have a big orange flag on the back of your boat to make it easier for people to follow you. just a thought…. good job guys

Unfortunately for us, I don’t think it is luck. I think we need a rule that if you win 3 weeks in a row, you get to buy dinner and drinks.

that’s an even better idea, 3 weeks buys the beer. I would have joined you for a drink afterwards but I was already dehydrated and beer would not have helped. If it’s that hot next week I’m sitting in the water at the launch with a couple bobbers floating in front of me.

Congratulations to this weeks top 3 teams :

Mark Johnson & Jarrett Buxell shatter the camera lens with an astonishing 64.5″ taking 1st place for the night they also reeled in the big fish pot with a net stretching 24″ eye. Way to go guys

Jeff Jerry & Wes Bergemann rigged up 3rd place with a 45.5″ of CPR’d St.Croix fish. I think I seen you guys even catch a bonus 115 Mercury also. Way to go guys

I was hoping no one noticed I hooked the 115. After 2 weeks I’m still feeling like my first time out in a boat. My partner Wes has been very tolerant. By end of year I should have graduated up to using the electric trolling motor and the big boy rods and reels.
