It appears that the launch wasn’t built to opperate above flood stage, that’s too bad. I still need to get my pass yet, maybe tomorrow.

Guys, let me know if you would be interested in meeting up Wed or Thu weather permitting. We can take our own boats or whatever. I am way overdue and my wife is out of town for a week starting Wed so this lonely boy will need some company.
If the weather is bad we should meet for drinks in Hudson.

Any chance the high water will again shut down the Hudson launch. I hope not but we got a ton of rain on Saturday!

Looks like the water is forcast to go up 2 feet by the end of this weekend. I’d be very surprised if they keep it open if it goes up that much.

The water was only inches from being in the lot a few minutes ago. I would guess it will be closed tomorrow I’m thinking I should just give up and go to the cabin wheeling this weekend as well.

I just drove thru down there and the water is just getting up over the concrete landing and is on the tar making it’s way to the parking lot. Looks like they pulled the docks in a good 8-10′ from where they were Sunday. I’m guessing it’ll be closed by Friday.

SOB!! On the bright side its a good year for the fish. Other than guides harvesting them at an alarming rate ( ) at least a lot of fishing pressure is off this season.

Darn…I’m finally getting some time to head out. Does anyone know how much of the Prescott landing is under water?

I imagine its up there but that landing can take it and never shuts down. If they adjusted the dock (they usually do) you should be good. If alone you may have to take special precautions unless you dont mind wading. Personally I back in within a foot of the dock when its high and climb onto trailer. Whatever method floats your boat!

I’m tired of asking this but………is the Hudson launch open? Thinking of heading out in the morning but I can only do a short run. 5-9 am.

    Anyone interested?

give it a couple weeks, not even close yet. watch the noaa web site for the stillwater level, Hudson isn’t open until it’s under 680.

I was partying in Hudson last night. So strange to see landing flooded this time of year. And all that work pulling docks.
