Hamm Room Predictions?

I can’t wait for Saturday. Lets here some predictions on winning weights and who will be this years winners. I’m going to go out on a limb and predict Scott Hale and Dave Kortum will climb the podium again this year. I think Dude has a spot marked that was the home to a 10.5 lb pig. The big question is does that pig have any friends and are they still there? If not, I’m sure Turk could be on his way to claim the ellusive win. Fritzee and Mark Johnson also seemed kind of giddy last night, so it would be safe to assume they will be on fish too.

I’m guessing it will take 24 lbs to win this year.

    Hey Kirk,
Can you Give Randy & I the skinny on what the plan is for Saturday morning? Have rules sheet and sign up, but wondering how this is being handled witht the high water.
Launch at Bennies and still meet at lake front?
I don’t have a partner yet, but still thinking about this. Randy’s have boat issues (Damn Mercs) but think he’s trying very hard.
    Any input would be great
    Thanks

Probably giddy from the foggy oil burning off the big motor…that was the first two hours on the water for me this year.
I’d bet my depth-finder on Dude and Kortum winning the Hamm. If Dude told you about a 10.5 pounder then there are probably 3-4 bigger ones that the walleye ninja has kept a secret. Dont count on face-value…you’ve seen what he’s done to us in the past

I’m guessing the Hudson launch will not be open by Saturday. I’m sure most will launch at Beanies, North Hudson or the Cove. Registration is between 6 – 6:45. I’m guessing they will have the registration setup at the Hudson beach. I can confirm and give Randy a call to let him know for sure. Hope your able to fish it.

I’d say Hale and partner will probably take it…..unless Turk has something up his sleeve

I saw it on Saturday. The belly on it even made ME jealous.

I predict Wollner-Gornick gets off to a greeat start since John saw Scott catch the 10 pounder. We wail on that spot and have a nice heavy limit. However, while coming into the the weigh in with what we think is a winning weight, the crane we are using to move shad raps around in the boat malfunctions and swamps the ranger. Fortunately the Klunds find us floating on a cooler just below the bridge. We are saved but our catch is lost and it is another disappointing but eventful finish in the Hamm. See you Saturday suckers!

Ryan and I are in. Nothin like an expensive day on the water. I guess we’ll have to spend some of the money we won on the big fish last year.

Huh… Funny John told me he didn’t see Hale catch it! I knew he saw it though, he had a funny twitch in his left hand when he told me “no”,
