I’m guessing no wake next weekend. I can live with the no wake, but will really be bummed if the Hudson landing isn’t open. Right now, it doesn’t look good.
7 more days……….
6 in the box by noon. cocktails and lunch on the houseboat by 1:00
Place your bets here. Fish bucks only.
No wake is lifted by Monday….
1 Week form tomorrow morning I’m going with no wake will be in place & Hudson landing will still be closed. They are talking some rains through a good part of next week.
Have back up plan with 12′ boat and 5hp motor that I’ll carry to Lake front if I have to and it is closed

If you mean this Monday, I’ll take that bet. Forget the fish bucks. How about a cold beer payable at the Borderline GTG Thursday night?
Parking is going to be a nightmare everywhere. Just means a longer day. I’ll have to be at the landing extra early. I cant even imagine the Hudson ramp not open. That is going to make it a mess. How will everyone get on the water?
I think this should be our major topic of discussion at the GTG. We may need to hire a trailer caddy…

Only if I offload my fish to your boat!
If I was going to be home I’d allow a few IDO’ers to park there trailers at my house but unfortunately I won’t be home. Ferry Landing will be a nightmare and remember no on street combos allowed otherwise you will get ticketed.
The water is dropping fast, I am hoping for the no wake to be lifted by opener Good luck out there

Hey!
Yea, I see it is estimated to still be about a half a foot over 83 by next Friday, hopefully they are wrong…
Deano
the only thing I can predict to be 100% true is you will be having cocktails and lunch by 1PM. the rest is dicey at best..

Steve – I would say the lunch has a 50% chance of happening.
I’ve been watching the river level and the prediction daily form more than a week and the estimated river level has been way off the actual drop. Extending the line on the graph puts us at 83′ on Monday. Give me a plus or minus a day and I’ll bet the farm
Oh, and besides, no wake doesn’t really mean “no wake”. I think there is some kind of special permit you can get to run WOT . I see people doing it all the time.

i am guessing it will be below no-wake level by opener.
Hope so. You need to unleash the ETEC!!
It will be no wake, but new batts on the terrova. I’m going to my secret spot from 14 years ago, never caught anything again there since, typical Croix!
Will they open the Hudson launch without the dock being in place? We really don’t need the dock with the sandy beach right there.
I don’t think they will open the Hudson landing unless the water receeds past the road you circle around on to launch (by the tie down spots). I also think if they open the landing, they will have the docks ready to go.

I just sent the city an email regarding the ramp being open or closed by Saturday. I’ll post the response when I get one.
This is the response fro mthe City of Hudson.
Good Morning – If all goes well YES we plan to have the launch open!
Thank you – Deb

What a lame and meaningless answer that was.

changing my answer after this monsoon. no wake thru opener.
If only we knew someone with access to Hudson Marina and that cute little ramp out back……
