I’ve been hitting the st croix river often the last month or so and have got a lot of nice fish with some buddies. I’ve been going mainly at night. Some nights the bite sucks and some nights it’s a work out battling fish all night. Just wanted to share a few pics. Been going out of Bayport and the Bluffs and using mainly Shad for bait. Used to post on here often 10-15 years ago but forgot my old username.

The last few weeks have been pretty good. The next few should be even better.

That’s incredible! I’d love to pick your guys’ brains on techniques; I’d really like to put my father on some pigs out on the river. We haven’t done well with walleye this year, but we got on a whole mess of sheepshead one day and he was really pumped at the fights. He’s always wanted to catch a river monster.

I’ve seen a lot of pictures of big sturgeon this fall. I’m hoping to get out a couple times this fall.
