Crestliner Vision

I am beginning the process of looking to buy a new boat and stumbled across the Crestliner Vision. It’s price point is considerably lower than the Crestliner Fish Hawk despite having a slightly thicker hull. I was wondering if anyone had any experience fishing out of a Crestliner Vision and what their thoughts were on these boats.

I have a 2014 1650 Fishhawk. I looked into the visions recently for a friend and after talking to my original salesman his personal opinion was to stay away from the vision based on build quality issues. Apparently the dealership he works for doesn’t even keep the visions in stock because of the quality issues. I am not sure what they are I simply took his word for it they have some things to work out before I would consider one. I also think when looking purely at the specs it seemed the beam was a fair amount less than the 1650 and that made me wonder how “tippy” it would be in the water.

I know currently because of the new mercs this year the fishhawk prices are staying high. Late September should see the 90hp fourstoke 1650 fishhawks at the $19k price point vs the $22k currently.
