Went up lake trout fishing for the first time ever last weekend. 4 of us blind as bats when it comes to trout fishing except what we’ve learned from YouTube/IDO. I thought we did ok icing 18 lakers with many more hook ups and lost fish. We will be back. We did spend 2 evenings after crappies and walleyes, which didn’t really work out. We did run into some guy you might know. Nice guy, offered a few tips. Seen Pat there too but never got a chance to talk with him.
