    Well I think you covered all the bases. Lately purple has been my go to color though.

    Does anyone use/make tinsel jigs? When I lived in Chicago we’d go to Lake Shelbyville in central IL every Mar/Apr and they were at every bait shop around. I can’t say I’ve seen them since I moved to central WI. Caught tons of crappies on them back in the 90’s. The lake is a pretty muddy reservoir but just about every back channel held nice crappies.

    Tinsel is go to always for crappies, wallys like em too
