So looking at getting a new battery as stated in the title. Will be staying away from lithium for the time being as I don’t have a charger for it. But back to what it will be powering it needs to start my 2012 200 mercury pro xs run 2 humminbird graphs (helix 9 & 899) along with a mega 360. Needs to run powerpoles livewells also for a day. Looking at a good wetcell or agm. What’s everyone running now a days?

The group 31(100 ah) AGM X2 from Batteries Plus is tough to beat if you want to stick with a lead acid battery. That should handle your needs. A helix 9 ah usage is like 2ah, an 899 is in the 1.5ah range, 360 in the 1ah range. Livewells do not use much, and I doubt you’re dropping the powerpoles enough between big motor runs to make a difference.

I have a Duracell Group 31 AGM, and it could use a bit more cranking amps for my 175 Zuk. It’s a great battery, but I kind of wish I went with the X2.
