Crankbait and jerkbait for walleye

    I have a jerk bait and crankbait rod that i would like to get setup for walleye im going to purchase a couple baitcast reels today and am wondering what line everyone recommends that i put on them.

    Go with 20 lbs suffix 832 and then a florocarbon leader

    If you’re comfortable with 15# braids for 1/4 oz lures, go for it. If not 20# or 30# braids.

    Sufix 832 is wonderful.
    Diawa J8 is also great.

    Bearcat, Flouro leader because it’s less visible? (Keep in mind this question is coming from a bass guy who fishes straight braid on his jerkbaits…… grin )
