Couldn't be happier!!

Finally got my otter! Took some doing, kind of hard to come by where I live in iowa. Reeds had them on sale for an unbeatable deal. Got to test it out today in the -25° weather!

Those that see me in my lodge think I’m stupid. ..otter is over price and over rated. . Imo you get what you pay for and otter is the best out there. If you want the best you really gotta try it first.

The warmth and space in my xt650 lodge is amazing not to mention the ease of the sliding poles You will get along with yours just fine.

im very jealous. i almost bit the bullet and got one this year but it will have to be another year in the clam fish trap II. next year i will be getting one. ive sat in them many times at cabelas and everyone says they are great houses. Enjoy It!

We brought the heater along today (-25° with windchill) ran it for about 10 minutes in the 5 hours we were out! I can’t get over how awesome this thing is!

I bought a 1200 lodge recently and I’ve only been out twice in it, can’t wait to get back out! It’s nice knowing I won’t have to buy another shack for 15 years!!

Damn nice shack!! I think I’m gonna get one next year and get rid of the over rated Clam!!

The only shelter I think it is very comparable is the Eskimo flip. My first shelter was their quick fish pop up thermal. I once wished they had a thermal flip. I guess they heard me but I already gotten my otter. I told my brother while at the st paul ice show.. if only Eskimo would build their quik fish canvas into their flip up they would get a lot of customers. And there it was on display secs later. All in all otter has better seats and poles imo.
