Now we know why Houston let Correa go. This Pena kid is pretty good plus he’s cheap.

No kidding. They let Correa and Springer walk and still on verge of world series championship.

I am glad that he is leaving the twins, 35.2M per year opened up for much better players.

Yeah I don’t think it opened up anything but more money to potentially spend. There are few better at his position but it’s a hefty price for sure.

The guy the Twins traded to the Yankees will be available again. No way the Yankees reload with him at short.

Another long list of star shortstops on the market again this year including Correa.

I’ll take pitchers over the shortstop. We have kids who can fill in. And if Royce is healthy let’s go with him and buy some decent pitching for a change

Lewis won’t be ready and they have no kids to play there. They will need a big league shortstop for next year. Twins defense in the infield was a 1000 times better this past year with Correa.

No argument, Correa was stellar.
I’d rather have “good” there than the mediocre on the mound is all.

It’s not like they are going to sign a top of the rotation guy with that money. Probably a bullpen piece and some 3-4 guy that they will say can be a top of the rotation type.
