got two boats heading to mcbride this week if weather permits. if i have my druthers i would fish the reservoir. i assume the iowa river is muddy and high like all the other rivers in eastern iowa. anyone have any input as to the iowa river conditions this week.
Not worth fishing! Way too muddy- I was going to fish the res today, but it is chocolate milk. It has came up four feet in the last week.
thanks luke, u saved us a trip. the guys would rather fish mcbride. never had much luck there with size. don’t like to keep any crappies under 10″ anywhere, which is hard at mcbride usually at least my last 2 trips. i’m sure the mcbride water is clean. have to regroup. 
pool 14 looks like everyone from mn/wi threw all there grass clippings in the river. 
another week and should be good to go
