No fishing, but info nonetheless

    Was out running the res with the kids yesterday afternoon. I figured by about 5, the powerboats should be getting tired after a holiday weekend. It really wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been, but still plenty of bigguns out there.

    Surface temp was 85° most of the places we went (from Mahaffy bridge to just North of Sandy Beach. Catfish should be really starting to get in their summertime groove. If anyone wants to head out, drop me a post or PM and we can try to work something out.

    Was out with the kids again last night. Water temp is still in the low 80’s, tons of rec boat traffic.

    Headed up to a cove just north of Sandy Beach to anchor up and eat supper and watched a few guys pull some nice cats out of a spot I like to fish there. I’m guessing the warm-water cattin’ is in full swing.
