    anyone been out fishing the flooded ground around the res?

    I haven’t, but would like to get out tonight if it’s not raining. Anyone know what ramps are open?

    The only boat ramps usable are located at Mehaffey Bridge and at the West Overlook Campground.You might want to check the MacBride ramp on your way.The fishing has has been a real tough bite on the res. if your looking for crappie.Cats are biteing fairly good.

    We ended up just going boating on the Cedar for a while. Didn’t have much time and figured that with Mehaffe being the only ramp available parking might be crowded.

    Cedar is not too high, but plenty fast. Some real monsters as far as logs that have been deposited, but not a lot floating. Naturally the dock at Mowhawk ate another chuck of fiberglass out of my boat. All in all, things looked pretty good, maybe this weekend I’ll go down there and try my hand at catfishing.
