    My Son just called me by Cell phone. He was on 380 and seen about 12 boats fishing in the stumps. He said the sign read Iowa River, but I think it is part of Coralville. What do you think they was fishing for?? Crappie???……JIM

    Could’ve been fishing ice-out cats, but I think that bite has probably come and gone.

    They were fishing for catfish.The cats usally bite good up there until mid April.

    Thanks… After I made the first post I went to Tiffin through Solon by Coralville and Mcbride and seen lots of people fishing from shore and some boats too.

    The guy’s at MacBride would be crappie fishing. There catching a few there now.
