When I went to Region 7 canoe base in Wisconsin as a Boy Scout
, they had 2 lunches that alternated: Hudson Bay Bread (an oatmeal/butter/honey/raisin/peanut bar), and

      Spam on rye crisp.

Not cooked, just a slice of slimy raw Spam on the worst cracker they could find.
Not sure what we did to deserve that- maybe they were encouraging us to become better fishermen.

Those crackers are BAD, but it does make the “raw” spam go down better. Personally I would toss the cracker out and just have the spam if it came down to it.

A few leftover pieces from last night’s dinner were welcomed into this morning’s smiling Sunshine omelette. cool

I often wonder what it’s like to work at Hormel in the IT Dept. The SPAM filters must be touch to manage.

    That looks awesome SuperDave.

I agree with Bearcat, needs some sauce although I’d smother with salsa.

Most of the sauce was under the cheese. It had plenty of heat.

One of my kids favorite ways to have Spam. Cubed into about 1/2 x 1/2 inch cubes. Fry in a pan until browned on all sides. Add 1 can of drained pineapple chuncks. Let brown a little more. Add barbeque sauce. Let simmer until heated though. Serve over rice. I add a little siracha for a bit more zip.
Also a thin fried slice on a venison burger is delicious.

Well I tried to fry some spam last week and think maybe I did it wrong.

I’m pretty sure its impossible to cook canned meat that is capable of surviving fifty years in a time capsule underneath the new IDO lair can be cooked wrong.

Sell the house it was cooked in & be sure to put in a disclaimer like you do with drug houses.

I’ve heard that even meth cookers won’t live in “A Spam House.” devil

I’d suggest having it disposed of in lead-lined casks like they do with nuclear waste, but GOD help us all if it mutates into ATOMIC SPAM!!!
