I know I asked this before however could not find the post or any email conversation I had.

Has anyone put 2 large screen (or 1 large and 1 smaller) units on the dash without blocking the view?

depends what you consider “Blocking the view”

here’s a picture I found on the internet of a Humminbird 119x and 99x series on the console, I personally went with a 999SI unit, because I thought the 1199 was too big, works fine for me…

Here’s a pic of mine. 1159 center and 898 right. I don’t have any trouble seeing over them.

I run a humminbird 1199 on a ram swing arm and a Lowrance touch 12 on a cisco on my MX2025. Not much issue with seeing around them.

Thanks kroger, you guys like your ram swing arms? I have mine on the large ram ball.

I had the Lowrance on a ram ball and the issue I had was I could not get at it very well to really get it tight so went to a cisco mount. The swing arm was needed to get the humminbird out and away from the glass to make room for the other unit. So far after 1 season it has worked out well.

In this off season I am going to make an aluminum bridge of some sort similar to the concept of a Dek-It mounts and mount the gimbal’s directly to it. Adjustability is not needed when there behind a windshield.

I agree, I have been looking for something more then just a ram mount or cisco. (don’t get me wrong but I like my cisco and my ram mounts)

I would be very interested to see what you come up with.

    A Rock Solid mount.
    I used to produce them.
    Here’s a better picture.

I use the large Ram ball mount for my 999 at the console, the ability to articulate it in any direction is what sold me on it…it’s also easy to remove without having washers/nuts/bolts to worry about losing…
