Stopped at Gander today for a few things, they had almost everything I needed, including 330 yards of new line to re-spool my three walleye slip bobber rods (well they didn’t have 8lb hi-vis, so I settled for 6lb)….

After goofing around with the garden I went to re-spool the rods. I opened the box and the tag end of the line wasn’t in the back keeper, figured oh well, shifted in transit….

    Wrong.

A huge congratulations to the dickhead who peeled off 150 yards, then spent the time and gas to return it to literally steal $2.00 worth of line……

Way to go buddy waytogo Now I need to do a special trip for more line because you’re a shoplifter

Usually I enjoy meeting new people…..I hope I go my entire life without ever having you inadvertently hop in my boat.

I feel sorry for your parents and your kids

My best wishes and good fishing for the rest of you normal people

I tried Sufix a few years back and wasn’t impressed, the hi vis yellow didn’t show up like Stren and I think their hi vis pink might get you some funny looks on the water. I just use 4lb fireline and forget it

Eeeessshhh. My buddy bought his dad and brothers all under armour 4.0 sets for Christmas at a Mills FF. Someone had pulled all the 4.0s out and put 2.0s in. Most likely they swapped and payed the 2.0 price. What’s wrong with people???

Has anyone ever tried that trick with a 30pk of Busch light? Just curious? 🍺

I’ve also heard of this happening with light bulb purchases – returning the package with burned out bulbs.

Yes the weight threw the whole transaction off. I would suggest bottles and refill with water. chased

Dont feel bad bman, I had to go to the hospital for a sliver during this covid crap. No local doctor offices open. I get there and they direct me in. $1500 later for a sliver in the e.r. when I had no clue I had any other options nor was I told I had options. So lesson learned. Hospitals will bend you over hard and you will pay much. So your couple bucks of fishing line might feel a little better now?

Was the sliver in your eye? Can’t imagine any other sliver needing to go to the hospital.

I’m going with “in the but Bob.”

    But seriously, that’s a “bum”mer.

I did once to get a treble hook out of my thumb. Barb was buried. Looking back 50/50 if I’d do it again.

    Where was your sliver?

Big Pike, here’s what happened to my wife during this COVID crap. She was having kidney issues, urologist ordered a pee test (offices closed) so it was delivered to the house. She took the test, called them to come pick it up. She then gets an EOB from her insurance company, pee test = $1900.00. Yep, if she was able to go into the office it would have been covered, but since they had to do the “home delivery”, you guessed it, the price went up. Called to complain, but they aren’t budging an inch. Thanks Doc for that expense!

Let it get infected for a day or so and slivers pretty much shoot right out.

25 years ago when they had pop come in cases I opened it carefully and put 20 cans of beer in it and 4 cans of pop on top by the handle. Worked great to get extra beer into Canada.
