Still not sure why some of you resist FB like VD…ha! But those that don’t FB miss out on a lot. Sorry, not trying to derail this thread but FB is lighting up right now for those that follow the fishing world.

This was his comment on FB earlier today…

“I just toppled the SD state record walleye!!!! Holy sh*t!!!”

Thanks Andy, that is what I was looking for. Good for him!

I was wondering if he was on the Columbia River or somewhere else.

Well this could get confusing now that there are 2 Andy’s involved. I think Andy Fiolka was being funny when he made the comment about SD. I’m still trying to confirm but I believe it was the Columbia. Videos and pics on FB show that this catch is legitimate. Well documented with plenty of witnesses. It looks like he was fishing solo when he hooked it up. Pic’s from another boat. He is more than overwhelmed!

Out of curiosity, Would it be OK to ask if the fish is still swimming?

If it’s not, I’d be cool with that (my opinion doesn’t matter anyway) since she probably is as the end of her cycle anyway. JMHO based on what i have been told in the past by biologists…
If she is, then a replica better be made.

The downside of catching a fish that big is that you have to lie and tell people it was smaller than it was so people believe you. shock

This is a video from Uncut Angling from the Columbia River last spring, towards the end it talks about the walleye fishing out there.

Where else can you catch 15lb walleye with regularity? Congrats! And as for Snapface, you guys can have it.

Actually there are hundreds that get 10 lb hogs out of the Columbia and it’s no snapface secret. Congrats to those that can fish Columbia and Erie as they hold some lifetime fish! I would have to kick my own a$$ if I get FB to get my news. Me getting FB is as possible as Walleyestudent making a post without an emoji or some random crap pic.

Nice fish Andy ! To the article linked above about FB…. So somebody can analyze you maybe like cookies and milk if you “Like” Nestle and Keebler on Facebook and your avatar has you pictured with a milkstash ? Brilliant… wonder what else they know… maybe that if you “Like” Fox News, you may be a conservative and if you “Like” CNN, you may actually have severe brain trauma…? Again.. who knew this was going on and only on FB… never here. doah jester rotflol
