There’s this lake out here about an hour and a half from rapid city, South Dakota. the fishing there is either on fire or its the dead sea early ice is the best i think you guys should come out and do a video on it or atleast come give it a try i live in gillette wyoming i fish it all the time i love it right now the crappie But and eye bite is on fire.
Keyhole? I think that they would do a Flaming Gorge trip before they came up there but I don’t know. I live in Pinedale nice to see another Wyomingite on here!
Yea probaly but they might would be cool if they did because keyhole is a pain to fish some days and it seems like they like a challenge
I’ve never fished flaming gorge I want to though idk if my boat is quit big enough for that lake
What kind of boat do you have? I see small aluminum boats out there all the time you just have to be smart about it. The wind can get nasty but you can usually get off before that happens. I used to have an old 16ft fiberglass boat that I took down there a couple of times and it did fine. Not near as good as my new lund does though 
I would love to see the IDO guys do a Wyoming show. Fly fishing on the Miracle Mile perhaps??

Ya you would be good with that boat out on the gorge. Your boat has a high enough bow that you should be able to handle the waves long enough to get back at least. I bet that thing catches the wind really bad though if your trying to troll doesn’t it?
Yea not super bad but it definitely makes a difference trolling but if you Wana jig it works out great if you put the nose in the wind and get the sweet spot you will sit dead still in the water
I’m in Buffalo, Wyoming as I write this, and headed for Rapid City tomorrow. I’ve seen a bunch of nice water in our travels thru the state….no fishing though. Sure a lot of beautiful country here
The interstate was closed past moorcroft due to a fire might wanna check before getting there
90was open this morning but it’s crazy hoe close hat fire got to it. Still cooking this morning. There’s a whole mountain near Spearfish that’s burining….west of the valley. That sucker is impressive to see.
All of the west is super dry. I think this year is going to be bad for fires.
The fire by keyhole/moorcroft is over 12000 acres its really sad but I think the lake is now fishable
