November Full Moon

…was spent watching the waves from shore. I drove down Thursday night and hit the wind at Woodland and didn’t see it let up much. I managed to get out for a couple hours on Friday at Ough Reef but boat control was extremely difficult. I had my kicker running hard upriver and I was still heading downriver. I was experimenting with leadcore and was amazed at the depths I was hitting with such little speed. I think the fish might have been elsewhere in that much current though. Oh well, there’s a full moon in December right?

Sorry to hear the november full moon period was a bust for you… it was the same for me on Mille Lacs with the horribly cold temps. I guess you guys can’t make us midwesterners drool with envy over a 16 Lber EVERY november! But like you said, there’s always NEXT month. Thanks for the update.
