    I know everyone in the Midwest has a abundance of flow in the rivers.

    Just a picture of the green can, channel bouy about 1 mile below the McNary Dam. Flow rate 500,000 Cubic Ft per second, river is at or slightly above flood stage. The can usually stands about 6′ out of the water and tilted west about 10 degrees.

    To stay even with the current requires 9.8 MPH

    It is all flowing west!
