Columbia River Sturgeon Guide…HELP

We are headed to Oregon this summer and my son and I would like to hire a guide to catch some white sturgeon. Someone posted on her some time back about a guide they used and he sounded pretty great. Problem is, I can’t find that thread anymore. I’ve used the search tool and no dice.

Is this ringing any bells for anyone? If so, I’d love your help.

I’ve done the Snake river in Idaho and the Fraser river in British Columbia.

We didn’t have a guide in Idaho and in BC we used River Monster Adventures.

I’ll chat with a buddy that has done a couple guided trips in Oregon and get back to you.

I was thinking about that too. If we do that, we want to catch giants. It looks like with my limited research that usually occurs in the spring and fall, not the middle of the summer when we’re going. I’ve seen a few guide pics where it appears to be summer and the clients are holding up a stringer of 15-18 inch eyes. If that’s the summer bite, I’ll pass.
