Brink is from Minnetonka HS so all three of these guys have ties from the state of Minnesota.
I’m not happy with the UM/MSU game being moved from ESPN2 to ESPNU because of a baseball game. I don’t get ESPNU, but get ESPN2.

That sucks. I can see putting the Gophers on ESPNU in the early part of the season and non-conference games, but not during the frickin’ Frozen Four!!!

They have done this before. I remember they moved the national championship game from ESPN to ESPN2 for a regular season basketball game.
If it wasnt for ESPN the Frozen Four would likely not even be televised, but this sucks. A regular season baseball game pushing a tournament semi final is just dumb.

ESPN has picked Mankato over Michigan in the final. The primary reason is that Mankato has the experience because they are primarily composed of older players. At least one team from this state will be playing on Saturday…
This should be a couple of fantastic hockey games. Id like for the Gophers to win it all, but if its someone else Id prefer Mankato. Like what Hastings has been doing there.
First game was fantastic. Denver has it all. Saturdays matchup will be great too regardless of which MN makes it.
