Does anyone know if YoutubeTV includes ESPN+? Sioux game is on ESPN3. I’ll be going to a friend’s house Friday who has YoutubeTV, but my searches do not tell me whether or not it includes ESPN+ or not. I have heard that it does. If not, will I just need to get subscription to ESPN+?
I don’t think you need espn+ to watch it. All you need is an online connection. Go to espn3/watchespn and you can stream it.
Kind of a joke that they can’t even televise the top ranked team in the country. The mankato/quinnipiac game on Saturday is the same. Get your act together ESPN
Follow the money. When averaging all NCAA Division 1 football teams against all Division 1 hockey teams, football brings in more than 20x the revenue per team (with far more teams too). The same statistic for men’s basketball comes in at about 7-8x the revenue (with far more teams than hockey too).
College hockey is a regional sport and has a fraction of the following as other sports whether Midwestern people want to admit it or not. The sport is caught in a tough spot as anything in the Fall will lose to Football, while the NCAA basketball tournament will crush anything late winter. Sadly, ESPN likely makes more money honoring bigger contracts showing highlights or press confefences of football/basketball as it does NCAA hockey playoffs. The money always wins and always will.
