    Any suggestions?
I have all the layers except the outside layer. My current set is junk.
Must be warm and quiet. I like wool or berber style even tho they’re a burr magnate. It doesn’t need to be water”proof”…if it’s raining i probably won’t be out. Snow – yes.
I need something for long, bow stand sits in cold, windy conditions.
    I’m 6-2, 215 so need a tall too.
Need some ideas for what to get and what to avoid.

    Thanks!

arctic shield. Not sure what their current set is like but I’ve had my set almost a decade and it’s good stuff. Waterproof, windproof and quiet. Be prepared to pay for it though.

Just as important in cold weather are your base layers under the outer shell. I’ve become a fan of merino wool, but again, be prepared to pay for it.

Oh yeah buddy heaters in em !
Problem is they’re never where I really want them !
The deer kinda figure them out each year after a while and they tend to stay just outta bow range.
Now when the smoke pole comes next weekend…it’s a whole new game !

I’ll have to check out artic shield. Haven’t heard of that until now.

I’ve got cabelas Berber fleece and it’s amazing.

So i pulled the plug and ordered the berber fleece jacket today.
I didn’t get the pants since they didn’t have a Tall size. Only regular in med or large.

Bob – do you have the pants too? If so what size? I’m 6’2′ so thinking a Tall size would be needed.

Heated soles? My feet freeze too. What are you using for heated soles ?

    TTT.
I read some reviews on Cabelas Stand Hunter bibs. Very warm according to the reviews…although it’s not available in XL.
Anyone own them and have an opinion?

Check out Duluth trading co. pants. I bought the insulated carhart knock offs last year and they are toasty warm and have a zillion pockets. They aren’t camo, but carhart brown. They are tough as nails and don’t collect any burrs.
