Cold Maiden Voyage

Got the Grady out for the first time since fall today and it was “not nice” out

Had some headaches, my kicker shift cable was frozen so we were without auto-pilot in 2-3′ seas (sucked) and my Quick-Draw contours of structure I fish weren’t working after an update (struggled to get/stay on fish).

Overall it was a terrible day, had to scrape the windshield a few times with a credit card to make it back

Why I do this to myself I’ll never know. One lonely laker kept the skunk out of the box though.

Nope.Those fish can wait for a better day.
I wonder how long before the boy’s realize on a day like that the old man is nuts.

Looks like one of them days where the idea is great, but the execution isn’t that great. Still looks like a great time.

That’s hardcore! March in the boat is awesome when it’s nice out but it wasn’t nice out at all. I saw a lot of ice floating around out there today.

Go out of two harbors? Mcquade still locked up I assume?

I’m excited to get out but need the snow to melt to get in to the pole building to get the boat out of hibernation.

Did the boys at least have hot chocolate?
